Description
Clarifying care for an even complexion
Light care for a regulated, clear and fine skin texture – ideal for skin prone to impurities or pigmentation spots.
The active ingredients at a glance:
- 10 % azelaic acid – regulates sebum flow, combats acne bacteria and reduces pigmentation spots and redness. One of the few active ingredients that are also considered safe during pregnancy.
- Niacinamide – strengthens the skin barrier, reduces visible redness and refines the appearance of pores.
- Bisabolol & panthenol – soothe the skin and reduce irritation – particularly important when using azelaic acid for the first time.
- Witch hazel extract & hibiscus – have an anti-inflammatory and cell-renewing effect, support the skin’s appearance in the case of impurities and pigmentation spots.
Application
In the evening, apply a small amount to the cleansed, dry face. When starting for the first time, begin by applying it two evenings per week, then gradually increase to every other evening, and finally to daily use. Avoid direct contact with eyes and lips – in case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
Note
At first, test only in the evening on a small area of skin and gradually increase application to twice daily. Avoid direct contact with the eyes. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Does PeriClear also help with pigment spots?
Azelaic acid inhibits melanin production and actively works against pigment spots and an uneven complexion – not only against blemishes.
Can I use PeriClear during pregnancy?
Azelaic acid is considered one of the few actives generally classified as safe during pregnancy. Please discuss this with your gynaecologist or dermatologist beforehand.
When will I see first results?
First improvements often visible after 4–6 weeks. Significant results typically after 2–3 months of regular use.
Can I combine PeriClear with PeriTonic AHA?
Yes – this is actually our recommended acne routine: PeriClean Foam + PeriTonic AHA + PeriClear.
Who is PeriClear not suitable for?
For very dry or severely irritated skin, use with caution. In that case, consider PeriCalm as an alternative.
