Payment Methods
Information on payment methods and payment processing in the Online Shop
§ 1 Accepted Payment Methods
In the Online Shop at https://www.drperi.at we accept the following payment methods:
- Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, etc.)
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
- EPS transfer
Which payment methods are available in any specific case will be shown to you on the order completion page before the order is finalised. For technical or creditworthiness-related reasons, the availability of individual payment methods may be restricted in individual cases.
§ 2 Payment Processing via WooPayments
Online payments are processed via the payment service WooPayments of Automattic Ireland Limited, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Ireland. The underlying payment service provider used is Stripe Payments Europe Limited, 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, D02 H210, Ireland (hereinafter "Stripe").
By selecting a card-based or other payment method processed via WooPayments, you consent to your data required for payment processing (in particular card or account details, name, order amount, order number) being transmitted to WooPayments and Stripe in order to carry out the transaction.
For details on the data processing by WooPayments and Stripe, please refer to our Privacy Policy at https://www.drperi.at/datenschutz/ as well as to Stripe's privacy provisions (https://stripe.com/at/privacy).
§ 3 Security, PCI-DSS and Strong Customer Authentication
All card and account data collected as part of the payment processing is processed exclusively by the payment service provider and is at no time stored on servers of The Cottage MedCos GmbH.
The transmission of sensitive payment data is consistently SSL/TLS-encrypted. WooPayments and Stripe are certified under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).
For card payments, Strong Customer Authentication (SCA / 3D-Secure 2) pursuant to the second European Payment Services Directive (PSD2) is used where required. In this case, you will automatically be redirected to your bank during the order process in order to authorise the payment using the procedure stipulated by your bank (e.g. in-app confirmation, push notification, biometric authentication).
§ 4 Due Date and Conditions for Dispatch
The purchase price is due upon submission of the order.
The goods will only be dispatched after successful receipt of payment or successful authorisation by the payment service provider. For payment methods with deferred receipt of payment (where available, e.g. SEPA direct debit), the respective terms of the payment service provider apply.
§ 5 Failed Payments, Return Debit Notes and Chargebacks
If a payment is rejected or reversed by the payment service provider, the card-issuing institution or the Customer's bank (chargeback / return debit note), and this reversal is attributable to the Customer, we are entitled to claim the processing fees actually incurred by us through the bank or payment service institution from the Customer.
Flat-rate processing fees are not charged. The Customer reserves the right to provide evidence that no damage, or substantially less damage, was incurred by us.
In the case of repeated unsuccessful payment attempts, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refuse dispatch.
§ 6 Refunds
We will refund payments made exclusively via the same payment route that you used for the original transaction — unless something else has been expressly agreed with you. In no case will you be charged any fees for a refund.
In the case of an effectively exercised withdrawal, the provisions of our Withdrawal Instructions apply additionally, in particular the requirements concerning the deadline and amount of the refund.
§ 7 Invoicing
You will receive an electronic invoice for every completed order. The invoice will either be sent to you as an attachment to the order confirmation or shipping confirmation e-mail, or made available for retrieval in your customer account at https://www.drperi.at.
By placing the order, you agree to the receipt of electronic invoices pursuant to § 11 of the Austrian VAT Act 1994 (UStG 1994).
The invoice contains all information required under § 11(1) UStG. No additional dispatch in paper form will take place; on request, you can obtain a copy at any time at office@drperi.at.
