Pore-refining and sebum-regulating tonic for oily and combination skin
The combination of fruit acid, lactic acid, citric acid and witch hazel visibly refines the pores, regulates excess sebum and supports cell renewal. Allantoin and panthenol soothe the skin and make it soft and optimally receptive for subsequent care.
Application

Frequently Asked Questions
Below you'll find the most frequently asked questions about "PeriTonic AHA". For further questions, feel free to contact us by phone or email – we're happy to advise you personally.
How often can I use PeriTonic AHA?
If tolerated well, morning and evening. To start, we recommend one application per day – ideally in the evening – to gradually accustom the skin to fruit acids.
What exactly do the fruit acids do?
Glycolic acid, lactic acid, and citric acid loosen dead skin cells, promote cell renewal, and visibly refine the pores. At the same time, the combination regulates sebum flow and primes the skin to optimally receive active ingredients such as azelaic acid or niacinamide.
Do I need sun protection after using AHAs?
Yes, always. AHAs increase the skin's sensitivity to light. We recommend SPF 30 or higher every morning – consistently, even in winter.
Can I combine PeriTonic AHA with PeriClear or PeriNol?
With PeriClear: yes, this is our recommended acne routine. With PeriNol Creme: use them separately – PeriTonic AHA in the morning, PeriNol in the evening – and not directly one after the other, since both are active ingredients.
When will I see first results?
Smoother skin and a refined pore appearance often show after 2–3 weeks. Significant sebum regulation and a reduction in blackheads are typically seen after 6–8 weeks of regular use.
Who is PeriTonic AHA not suitable for?
For very dry, thin, or acutely irritated skin, as well as active rosacea, we use PeriTonic Mild instead. During pregnancy, please consult your gynaecologist or dermatologist before using.
